L72, brand launched by Lee Wood, is the result of a long journey into the world of fashion, mixed at times by the music and nurtured by love of beauty, the path that led the eclectic designer on the podium of Who is on next? 2015, the scouting project organized by AltaRoma in collaboration with Vogue Italia, winner in the category Women's Ready-to-wear.

Lee Wood, of English origin, started his career as a clerk then became a fashion stylist in London. In 1998 he moved to Milan and joined the creative team Versace as designer and head of accessories license. After sixteen years next to Donatella Versace, in December 2013 Lee Wood decides to open his own design studio and consultancy Studio L72. In April 2014, ended the experience in Versace, Lee Wood becomes creative director for Carlo Pazolini, brand of shoes and luxury accessories, an exciting challenge and ambitious aims to increase brand visibility. In 2015 Lee Wood decided to create his own project, an expression of independence and creative freedom, launching the brand L72 with the line "Collection Zero : Not Conditioned" which we present here.

"Collection Zero: Not Conditioned" is a capsule collection of clothing with a minimalist style, decided that the rigor of the forms is damped by volume, the traditional cuts, from ultra-feminine silhouette harks back to the '50s, they are folded into the street culture through the use of tissue sports technicians worked with techniques to haute couture.Lee Wood, "traditionalist minimal" as he calls himself, we propose a new concept of elegance through a collection made with mastery and expert craftsmanship that leaves the boundaries dictated by fashion and trends. A timeless collection born from a creative impulse, by an instinctive need to give shape to an intuition, clear and pure.

As well as winner of the Women's Ready-to-wear eleventh edition of Who is on next? , L72 by Lee Wood has also received the special award "Fashion Valley" and will then develop a capsule collection in collaboration with the textile district of Prato, which will be presented during the next edition of Altaroma in January 2016.
