Marta Zampolini, needle, thread and … so much “cloth” to sell! Among the secrets inherited by her grandmother, Marta has been embroidering her dream as a child, to work one day in the fashion world. But the talent was too big to remain closed in the drawer, so after graduating from the L.Leopardi Institute, she left Spoleto to attend the Fashion Designer at IED in Rome.
Here she has a chance to experience her creativity every day, taking part in numerous initiatives and fashion shows and preparing for the thesis the dress that will be chosen by IKE’ UDE’ and worn by Isabella Ferrari. And then her entry into the world of work, collecting from 2008 important professional experiences: from the company Phisique Du Role in Rome for which she draws man-woman sportswear, at Pepoli Prèt a Porter, at Essemaglia in collaboration with Maria di Ripa Bianca, to Fabiana Filippi cashmere. But the real turning point is with the trip to Berlin, currently a European capital in full cultural turmoil, where Marta succeeds in achieving her aspiration to open her own brand.
Intuition comes a little by chance, in observing during the flight, right towards the German capital, the continuous “lever and put” jacket or sweaters of women. From a banal action the idea of her future innovative transformable clothes. Adapted to the body, featuring zippers with the freedom of creativity, Marta Zampolini’s clothes allow you to change fun, play with style. With the help of Suzan Basbay for tailoring and Andrea for the managerial section, Marta continues to grow her project day by day, also trusting in the relationship with Italy and on the support of a young and committed staff. In 2013, thanks to this Italian-German synergy and the strength of this contaminated team opened mind, open to 360 degrees, Marta Zampolini presents the First Time Collection in Rome.
A real success that will bring the brand on the catwalks of Milan, on the pages of Vogue, Elle, Glamor … at the New York Fashion Week with the SS17, until the latest opening of Zamp Black Office in the hometown of Spoleto. “Lost in Town”: this is the title of the Spring – Summer 2017 collection from the street and metropolitan taste, for her and for him, attentive to trends as well as comfort. White and black are interrupted by geometries reproduced for both genres, by optical fantasies that become detachable inserts, t-shirt details to show only when we want. From long trousers to shorts, in one gesture, or rather zip. From dresses to shopper, sleeveless sleeve … all in the shape of a look! And even feminine reversible sweatshirts or removable accessories … with Marta Zampolini the fashion really changes, it turns! For info www.martazampolini.com
