Brù Milano was born out of the desire of two young Italian siblings, Riccardo and Vincenza Bruno, to bet on a new project, combining their professions and competences: graphic design and architecture. Their parents’ job as upholsterers has allowed them to gain firsthand experience of the Made in Italy for over thirty years and to develop the necessary skills to make products that stand out for their innovative design and high-quality materials. Thus they founded Brù Milano, with great attention to the smallest details, starting from the brand name: beyond being a reference to their surname, in the American slang “Brù” actually means “brother”, echoing and emphasizing the family bond of the two founders. The brand purpose is to make customized products that allow people to stand out in today’s static and ordinary society. Customers choose how to create their products, so that these can reflect their unique selves and match their own tastes and desires rather than what the consumption society induces to desire.
