Sensual, slightly egocentric and yes, with definitively great style! For this Autumn-Winter 2019-20 animal prints challenge us and win, playing all the clothing and accessories cards. Mini dresses, coats, handbags, kitten heels and…the more animal print you have, the more you wear! In the right way of course…because you need to be careful not to exaggerate, the zoo effect is just around the corner!

Like a grand classic destined never to die (it was in 1947 that Christian Dior first paraded it on the catwalk), this wild-spirited, bold print has been revisited and reinterpreted over the years and trends, by notable and new stylists. Who could ever forget the stunning Audrey Hepburn in that spotted hat in a scene from Charade, or the elegance of Jackie Kennedy contained in her leopard print coat. And the rest is history: Versace, Galliano, Cavalli all the way up to the fashion shows and wardrobes of today. So are you ready to let yourselves be seduced by our style proposals? Welcome to the jungle!

For whoever still says it’s vulgar…well, they’re very wrong (in the saying and in the wearing): animal print must be worn with wisdom. That’s the first rule for wearing the most trendy print of the moment: goodbye uncertainty, no shyness. Attract attention, turn heads, get admired. Make a hit (of style!) with a feminine and light midi or mini (the choice is yours), dresses like the one signed Alberto Audenino or the grace and bon ton of the Alexandra Tapu dress, the refined elegance of wrap dress or shirt with bow by Ludovica Amati. Prefer pants? Then La Double J and its total tailored looks will do it for you. Want something even more jaunty? Choose the bodysuit or the crop top + trouser set with ruffles by Giuseppe di Morabito: only for your special evenings.

One topic and one print at a time, as it used to be rumoured a few generations of trend ago. But now? Dare, rule number two! Play with colours and mix patterns! How? Take a peek at the latest looks by Leo Studio Design and Shirtaporter and complete the trend: animal print + tartan or animal print + bright colours!

And now for rule number three: direct everything towards an animal print, but only one animal print. A garment or an accessory. Wrap yourself in The Attico’s leopard spotted coat or increase your dose of sex appeal with the Luisa Tratzi décolletés. But the discussion on animal prints and shoes doesn’t finish here: romantic yet contemporary ballerinas by Ouigal, chic and refined décolletés by Annie. And bags? Choose the exclusivity and made in Italy of Federico Price, in maxi or mini format, or the functional beauty (and animalier) of the bags signed by Ecletta.
