National Chamber of Italian Fashion, 10 Corso Como, Agenzia ICE and the Consulate General of Italy in New York will bring the emerging fashion Made in Italy to the New York Fashion Week. From 6 to 8 September, in the spaces of 10 Corso Como of the Seaport district, five young brands identified by Sara Sozzani Maino, CNMI’s international brand ambassador, will be able to showcase their SS 2020 collections to the international press and to well-known industry experts during the important days of fashion shows. Created with the support of ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, and of the Consulate General of Italy in New York, this project puts the spotlight on Made in Italy and in particular on five talented brands, young of age but already known and recognized for their exclusive style. Let’s find out together!

Act n°1 – It was 2016 when Luca Lin and Galib Gassanoff founded their brand in Reggio Emilia. Ancient Chinese art, Azerbaijan crafts, Italy, childhood memories … their different stories and cultures have come together and continue to unite in a name that is not afraid to dare and experiment, to mix the cards of tradition and contemporaneity, to play with contrasts and overlaps. A quality tailoring streetwear.

ACT N°1

Coliac – It is the shoe brand created by Martina Grasselli. The concept of elegance is reinterpreted leaving with this brand a new footprint: piercing-shoes, stones, pearls, brooches are just some of the details that make Coliac craft shoes so irresistibly exclusive.

COLIAC

Nico Giani – Niccoló Giannini is the creative soul of this brand of bags that was soon to be noticed. Minimal, geometric but also so delicate and feminine, the colorful Nico Giani are designed and cared for down to the last detail, handcrafted with fine leathers.

NICO GIANI

Sunnei– A brand in continuous evolution that overcomes the diktats of trends to grow and enrich itself collection after collection. So Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo on a flight back from New York to Milan in 2013 conceived the idea of launching their own brand born as menswear and now also extended to the female world.

SUNNEI

Vivetta – Ironic, romantic and almost fairytale the creations and collars of Vivetta Ponti have conquered the world. Stars included! Inspirations and retro references combine with contemporary shapes and fit in fresh and imaginative collections.
