Milano Fashion Week Women’s has recently closed (early). Between canceled events and closed-door fashion shows, fashion has never ceased to excite. Precious workings, transparencies, leather, embroidery, coats with important shoulders cover sensual petticoat dresses. Male and female, strength and kindness, romance and determination… the contrasts increase, the borders disappear in looks that want to dare, to be looked at and worn. Discover some of the Fall /Winter 2020-21 collections that we have noticed and… annotated!

BROGNANO – A hymn to femininity and the beauty of being equal only to ourselves. Tulle, embroidery, colours and lots of elegance parade on the catwalks dressed by Nicola Brognano. The young designer and new creative director of Blumarine dedicates his Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection to women and their uniqueness. From the kindness of blouses and large bows tied around the neck, from the transparency and romance of tulle, from the lightness of soft, enveloping and loose fabrics to powerful total looks, vibrant shades and coats tight at the waist that recall the city in their decisive and clean lines . An interpretation of timeless fashion that does not compromise except with good taste and unquestionable great class.

DROMe – Safe, independent and free. Free to express, dress, to be. The DROMe Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection is inspired by a woman who plays with contrasts and is not afraid to dare. Jackets with square shoulders and overcoats mix with mini dresses, ribbed shirts and lingerie that wink at good old times, deep slits, the glow of gold. Sensuality dresses and undresses, moving decisively but at the same time feminine between looks that stand out for their style.

PLAN C – Carolina Castiglioni’s emerging brand continues to convince season after season. With this new collection, the designer has indeed confirmed her talent and her skill in conceiving a dress made not only of spectacularity but of clothes as beautiful as wearable. The tailored coat is tinged with green, the romantic printed maxi dress is worn with super flat shoes, the soft pink blouse becomes the protagonist of a sporty-chic outfit. Perfect without any ifs or any but.

SSHEENA – Intense pink, lilac, ice, white: the tones light up in the latest Ssheena collection. The street influences contaminate a new and contemporary elegance, sometimes irreverent. Deep cuts and necklines design bold jackets and dresses while ton sur ton outfits indulge in the liveliness of the colors and in the tailoring. Eclectic, fun, seductive, sometimes self-centered: according to Ssheena autumn winter 2020-21 fashion ranges from over volumes to sculptural and enveloping silhouettes for a femininity represented in its many wonderful shades.

GILBERTO CALZOLARI – Eco-sustainability is its mantra, aesthetics is the form through which to write and communicate a message to be shared as well as to be worn. Regenerated yarns, fabrics recycled from plastic bottles, clothes born from the upcycling of broken umbrellas are just some of the exclusive materials and examples by Gilberto Calzolari. Creativity is linked to respect for the environment in garments that are inspired by a multifaceted, sophisticated and sometimes vintage beauty. Voluminous and “graceful” jackets closed by large buttons, crop tops, 1940s dresses are just some of the exclusive proposals of the brand capable of creating in harmony with the environment.
