Mipel and Micam: from 15 to 18 September, at Fiera Milano Rho, the two major events dedicated to leather goods and footwear are back. A reference point for bags and fashion accessories, the first, for footwear the second, Mipel and Micam will present a multitude of collections and exclusive pieces, combining tradition, design and innovation. Two inevitable appointments, where historic fashion houses and emerging names will meet buyers, press and industry experts.
For its 116th edition, Mipel chooses sustainability by taking an even greener path and raising awareness among exhibitors and visitors. Creativity becomes aware, fashion becomes sustainable. Through some metaphorical installations, Mipel launches a clear message: all the green of our planet leaves the earth due to indiscriminate exploitation and pollution.
In an engaging journey capable of offering a unique and detailed view of trends and collections, over an area of approximately 20,000 square meters, various exhibition areas will be located such as SCENARIO, a privileged stage dedicated to new designers and the coolest brands, positioned in the heart of event. The brands that are part of this leading sector are selected by a style commission based on criteria of creativity, innovation and research. Between these? The emerging made in Italy brands SPAZIOiF, UNDICI-DIECI, Marco Trevisan, Eremo, Mialuis, Bububa, STEFANO TURCO.
And the avant-garde and innovation are also the main features of the MICAM, the leading international exhibition in the footwear sector, which with this edition will celebrate its first 50 years: with over 2000 footwear collections, it successfully combines business and fashion. Luxury, Contemporary, Everyday, Cosmopolitan and iKids are the 5 areas that divide a living “map” of creativity and events such as the INTERNATIONAL LAB of MITTELMODA – The Fashion Award 2019 which on Monday 16th September will announce its winners to MICAM. Alongside the big names that have left footprints in the shoe world, many emerging and evolving realities … To keep an eye on! Between these? Amato Daniele, Marie Weber, Andrea Mondin, Annie Gestroemi, Verba. For info & contact www.mipel.com e www.themicam.com
