Studio Barattolo was officially established on June 1, 2017. The collections of Studio Barattolo are inspired by moments of life, memories, travels, experiences of its founder and designer Giorgia Di Simone. The designer studies the emotions that these memories evoke, and interprets them, and each Studio Barattolo jewels is the result of an inner research and what she wants to convey to those who will observe it. The techniques that Giorgia Di Simone prefers are the goldsmith's techniques, and the metal she uses is bronze. The protagonist stones of Studio Barattolo jewels are hard and semiprecious stones, preferably natural stones, just as nature gives them back to us. Moreover, the packaging has been thought for being re-used even for other purposes or eventually, for being recycled. The jars are intentionally see-through in order for their contents to tell a story.
