Visaka, this is the name of the Bav Tailor spring summer 2020 collection. The eco friendly luxury tailor of the exclusive brand hits the mark (again!).
The best certified natural or recycled materials are the basis on which Bav Tailor builds pure silhouettes inspired by design, architecture and oriental philosophies, an ode to the beauty of the world and sustainability. The dress tunes in not only with the body but also with the mind, living, dressing the whole person: "respect your body + your sphere", the mantra of the label.
Awarded the 'Conscious Designer' award by the Arab Fashion Council and appointed finalist of 'Who Is On Next 2019?', a scouting project promoted by Altaroma and Vogue Italia, Bav Tailor was born in 2015 by the founder and designer of the same name.
With the spring summer 2020 collection, the brand continues to confirm itself as the excellence of the new Made in Italy fashion. Visaka is inspired by a moment in life, indeed several moments in life: birth and growth. To the evolution that makes us protagonists of our individual journey, to creativity, to the knowledge of our purpose, to awareness, to the blossoming of ourselves. In the garments all this translates into fluid shapes combined with clearer lines and folds created through origami techniques. Functionality and freedom of movement are essential characteristics for Bav Tailor, who skillfully manages to sew together the beauty of a refined aesthetic with absolutely correct ethics.
Bav Tailor in the spring summer 2020 collection has introduced increasingly green and exclusive materials and pieces such as organic cotton from soft and delicate rose petals, the Shakti Leaf Top, made with the innovative material made from leaves of the plant "elephant ears ” derived from renewable sources or the Shakti Leaf Jumpsuit in recycled silk accompanied by a 3D leaf scarf.
And for the colors, however, the palette ranges in the harmony of yellow, green, gray but also aquamarine, white, quartz pink and sand color.
For the first time we also find the shoe in the brand's production, namely the Vikasa sandal, in two different variants in recycled fish leather, made by Tuscan artisans.
