Promoted by the Comune di Milano-Cultura, Palazzo Reale and HOMI and edited by professor of jewellery and Accessory Design at the Milan's Polytechnic University Alba Cappellieri, the exhibition JEWELLERY À LA MODE has the intent to tell through the jewel in the evolution of society. For the first time the jewel is represented as a fashion element, and not only from the point of view of the big names but also by the emerging realities of the Made in Italy, chest of secrets long-lived tricks of the trade. Three different sections interact with each other, creating an engaging path, faithful portrait of a society and as a result of a woman in evolution.
In Jewellery FOR Fashion the well renowned Italian jewelery makers expose, while in Jewellery OF Fashion the space is all for designers and independent brands. Jewellery WITH Fashion is dedicated instead to the designers and the dress-jewel relationship.
